The Mosaic and The Wanderer.Yes this whole has been beaten down, broken now in decrepitude.
Scattered, thrown here or there by wanders kicking loose pebbles.
A stranger strolls and sees a stone to keep for his own collection.
He didn't hear the rubble cry as another part of them is stolen.

That was the day the sky turn gray with a storm of unknown magnitude.
Flooding rain washed what pieces remained into a shallow puddle.
In sediment they settled, put back together by this muddy concoction.
As the day exsiccates a mosaic is made and a soul has been awakened.
A woman rises from the sand to search for a man, and the part of her he's taken.

He loves to stroll and walk alone, his thought always so bestrewed.
Wander, meander where time doesn't matter. He's tired of a constant dribble.
Remembering the trinket he reaches in his pocket, and is startled with a pulsing motion.

Condemned AloneI always fail in love;
No matter the man I'm with,
He will leave eventually.

My heart rarely smiles
Ripped apart like a curtain
Of memories that
Fades with morning light.

And if I put my trust in you,
Will I regret it, only time will know.

I'm not sure what to believe;
All these years exposed to lies,
I am filled with bitterness.

I am their puppet;
Strings attached,
They reduce me to worthlessness
Incapable to thrive.

touching each others bodies
stroking slowly, at each others curve

See my breath fog up the glass
Flakes of white go floating past
With pale face and reddened nose
Brave the chill, smile as it snows
Just be patient, wait, he'll come
That winter spirit I deeply love
That smirk, a tingle down my spine
Holds me close, knows that he's mine
Time is running out, my dear

Make the most of every kiss

Snowflakes falling all around
Disintegrating on the ground
We don't care for radiators
We keep our house a refrigerator
Because we seem to make our own heat
The clock intensifies each beat

Star-kissed SpineShe has this air about her
that I don't quite understand.
It's as if her spine is the night sky,
caressing the heavenly bodies
of the planets on her skin.
Ivory skin,
like that of a porcelain doll.
She is fishnet and lace,
black and white,
and all the in-betweens.
I'll take her star-kissed spine
and she can have my battered rib cage,
my sore, slow heart
if only she'll take them.

Desirable SweetnessSkin is so soft so sweet, for it melts in my mouth like chocolate, it makes me wonder if you have ever

Been in love before, for I am eager to know if anyone else has been able to taste your desirable churned

Sweetness, for it makes me quite jealous for someone else has touched you first, seeing your hidden

so that it feels like someone else's fingers

Vent~I wake with a start. One minute my eyes are shut, and I'm wrapped in the cold hands of unconsciousness, where laughter and screams of torment burn my mind, and the next I'm sat up, supported by arms behind me. I'm panting. The covers of my bed are strewn across the floor, much like my twisted nightmares. There's sweat on my head, and on my chest. My breathing won't slow or quiet. I glance frantically around the room. The bedroom door is closed. Nothing can get in; nothing can get out.

What was I dreaming about? It's a sin. I shouldn't be dreaming about her, but I can't help it. Every time I close my eyes, her face, her voice, her scent obscu

You may be gone so that I can't see you, but it doesn't mean I can't tell you're there. I know you're there. It's been so long, but that means nothing to me. Do you honestly think I could ever forget you? After all that we've been through? All of the pain, all of the fury, and all of the love that we shared? I know it all became too much for you… But I didn't realize it was unbearable.

I wish you would've told me. I wish you had shared with me what you were going through so that I could somehow help, and comfort you. I wish you didn't keep yourself a secret from me. But it was what was to be expected, wasn't it?

Random Opening

A crimson sky stretched over and across the land, flecked with a cluster of pallid clouds that drifted sadly to the horizon and into oblivion. The sun descended westerly in a languid fashion, casting warm rays on the fields and illuminating the darkest caverns in the final hours of the day. The deep red faded into a shade of black, in a similar pattern to paper being creased from the corner inwards, like an invisible chariot was soaring across the open and dragging along a velvety blanket of night that enveloped the world around in a thick fog of darkness.

Imagination is a scary thing. It has the ability to trigger our strongest emotions – to strike fear into our hearts, and pain into our minds. It is the worst enemy we have ever come to know; and nobody who walks on this Earth has successfully tamed it. For it controls us – not the other way around.

"Mariah!" Somebody calls from below me. I keep my bow and arrow at hand – even if this person knows my name, I know not whether I can trust them. I look down from the branch I am seated on. A boy with black hair stares up at me. "Mariah, where have you been?" He asks as I jump down from the tree.
